Nothing wrong with anger. There's lots to be angry about. Indeed, it's one of the few emotions boys are encouraged to express. (Although not to their parents, or to any authority figure, really, because that'd be disrespectful.)

She might very well be raising Jesus, I'm hoping for more of a Robin Hood.

If he was real it seems Jesus was an angry guy. And if he had the courage to get violent with 'the moneychangers' the way he did, making a big violent scene of it; he must have practiced a little of that anger as he was growing up. I'm thinking Jesus got picked on quite a bit (seeing as he was an 'illegitimate' kid born out of wedlock and all). Somewhere along the line, Jesus learned to kick ass. Is your neighbour raising a Jesus? That boy is destined to seriously disappoint his momma.

I liked Marie Antoinette too for its Terrence Malick 'feeling a moment in memory' style but was disappointed by the fact that it's a total puff piece, without a shred of realism to help wash down all the sugar. After all the build up of showing such excess, would it have killed Coppola to throw in a single twist of violent realism at the end? I wanted to see a few heads roll, or at the very least, a scene of a crowd recoiling a little as Madame Guillotine did her thing. It didn't have to have blood but something real should have paid honor to the Revolution itself which framed (and ended) this young woman's life.
